This is a 1971 Martin N-20 nylon-string classical guitar with beautiful Indian Rosewood. The neck, at 2-1/4 inches, is slightly larger than earlier N-20 models, including Willie Nelson's "Trigger," but is quite flat, making playability easy. Scale length is 26.4 inches. The guitar has a deep, rich sound with excellent balance and clarity. Neck is straight and there are no cracks.

Overall condition is very good, though there is some playing wear beneath the rosette that has gone beneath the surface finish (see photo) and a little bit of finish glazing, which can be expected with a 37-year-old guitar. There's also a 4-inch area on the binding where the guitar bottom joins the lower bout that is not fully sealed. It's strictly a sealing issue and does not involve the integrity of the wood.
