This beauty is from the 2007 spring Limited Edition collection and is a stunning example of this Taylor model with a Select Solid Spruce Top and true Hawaiian Koa wood for the back and sides.  Over the past decade, Hawaiian koa, the beautiful and rare tonewood, has steadily increased in popularity, although the supply of high quality koa fluctuates drastically. Taylor has been extremely conservative in its koa usage in recent years, but

an exhaustive effort of Taylor's created a new koa source has been called by Bob Taylor, "some of the most beautiful koa wood I've ever seen!"

The Koa grain in this 414 is awesome and this is really a beautiful instrument.  This guitar has the new Taylor Scarf-Joint headstock with a mahogany neck.  The Limited Koa Series Acoustic/Electrics have backs and sides of solid, gloss-finished koa, and Sitka spruce tops Grand auditorium sized with satin finish, diamond inlays, ebony fretboard and creme binding.  Very comfortable to play and the Expression System (for unparalled acoustic sound reproduction) is a great electronic pick-up to go with a very cool guitar.  Will comes packed well to you in its original hard shell Taylor case.  No dings, blemishes or issues, in fact it looks barely played.  This instrument listed for over $2500 originally and being a limited edition you know the investment is worthy.
