Bought this recently from a lady who's late husband was a singer-songwriter in Nashville. This is an older guitar.  The label on the inside is marked Alvarez Guitar / model number 5047 / made in Japan.  There is a pickup in the sound hole, and a plug in on the end.  This is about all I know about this guitar.  The case is hard shell and is included, however, this is not the original case and is a little longer than the guitar.
