Engineered for today's discriminating guitarist, this amplifier is loaded with practical features useful in real world applications. Delivering a earthquaking 60 Watts of pure tube power, the Triple XXX 112 combo is easily controllable thanks to a master volume pot, as well as independent volume controls for each of its three channels. The Ultra and Crunch channels also have high gain controls to further assist in taming this beast while acheiving killer sound. Tone contour is accomplished through passive controls for Bass, Mid, and Treble on the clean channel, while the Ultra and Crunch channels utilize Peavey's exclussive Bottom, Body, and Edge Controls. Special designed speakers are used to compliment the XXX amplifier. 16 Ohm internal impedence is used so that you can add an external cabinet in parallel by using 4, 8 and 16 Ohm switch to match the impedence. I bought this amp new 2 mounths ago. It is basically brand new. Very minor marks, nothing worth mentioning. It is missing the Chrome plated female emblem in lower left corner that Peavey puts on the Tripple XXX Combo's. Very inexpensive to replace if need be. This amp sounds great. Very versitile and loud. I am a beginner guitar player and it was a compulsive purchase and it is way out of my league. This amp has been highly rate on Harmony Central User Reviews.
