This is a hard to find Charvel with a deep quilted maple top and a bird eye maple neck and headstock. Seymore duncan pick-ups(1 humbucker and 2 single coils) and a Lisenced Floyd Rose tremlo with locking nut. Dunlop strap locks. Tranlucent back. Ebony fretboard with Abalone dot inlays. 5 position toggle switch. Solid metal volume and tone knobs. Basswood body. Back plate included but not installed at this time. 24 fret neck. Comes with Vintage style case by G & G "The Original Vintage Case Company"  Serial number 01110380. Has the rounded tip headstock. All original except the straplocks.
This is one beautiful guitar- Both looks and sounds great. It has been well taken care of, but one incident did happen that made a couple of small chips in the finish along the bottom front edge. I tried to show the chips in the photos the best I could. One or two of them are so small that they wouldn't show with or without the flash, I tried both ways several times before giving up. The guitar was proffessionally set up at a lisenced/authorized Charvel/Jackson/Fender dealer called Motor City Guitars in Waterford Michigan. It has a warm sweet melodic sound, kinda bluesy in the neck position. In bridge position you get more of a thin-Van Halen sort of sound. 3 other variations with the other positions leave you plenty to work with. Purchased April of '05 for around $1800.00 I am not sure what year the guitar is, Fender simply states that it is pre-buy out(When Fender bought Jackson and thereby got Charvel). This guitar is nothing like most Charvels you may have come across. This one is truly a find. With all the options that it has, and the fact it was MADE IT THE USA. It looks, Feels, and Sounds, Great.  I welcome all questions, and wish you good luck bidding. Please be sure you are able to make the purchase before bidding. If you are local you can come over and inspect/play the guitar before bidding, and make local pick up as well.  This is the real deal and I have nothing to conceal. Good Luck and God Bless.
