| You are bidding on a used, 2006 model, MSD2C acoustic guitar from Alvarez. It was not stamped, "Almost Perfect" on the sound hole label, denoting it as a second. It is not covered by a factory warranty and it does not come with a gig bag or case. This guitar had a crack in the top that was reglued but not reinforced from inside. The crack runs from behind the bridge to the end of the guitars top. It starts behind the G string bridge pin. I have provided pictures of the repaired damage for you review. Unlike the MSD1, the MSD2C has a cedar top, giving it a different sound. The scale length is 22 & 3/4" and the overall length of the guitar is 34 inches. It is ideal for an adult travel guitar or for a younger player. The neck is straight, the frets aren't worn, and the rest of the guitar is pretty clean and damage free. It is used, so it has some light scratches here and there, but nothing major. Remember, unlike many similar travel guitars, this guitar is made from all solid tone woods. There is not one piece of laminated wood on this one. It sounds awesome, and the action is low and buzz free too. These guitars list for $629.00 and retail for around $339.00 new. Get yours for less right here! The shipping price for this guitar will be $20.00 which includes excellent packaging and full insurance. Our auctions usually end at Answers to our four most common guitar questions Q: How were the repairs done? A: Titebond II is the glue of choice. Cracks are clamped as flat as possible with clamps and clamping cauls. All cracks are cleated where possible with hardwood cleats. No finish repairs are performed. Q: What are cleats? A: Cleats are crack reinforcements made from wood. Q: How do the repairs affect the sound of the guitar? A: We have no idea what the guitar sounded like before it was damaged. The sound or tone of a guitar is a subjective matter. Even two perfect guitars are not exactly alike. We can say that we have never heard a bad sounding Alvarez. Q: How long will this repair last or will it get worse? A: Barring abuse or neglect, the repair should last the life of the guitar. Remember, a guitar enjoys the level of comfort that you likely enjoy, (i.e. never too hot or too cold, never too dry or too wet, and never ever stored in the attic, garage, or trunk of a car). As long as you remember this, your guitar won't spend much time in a repair shop. · Attention to those outside the · Shipping to the contiguous 48 states is $20.00 flat · Alaskan and Hawaiian shipping to be determined at the end of the auction.
