The Ashbory Bass has been re-released by the Fender Musical Instrument Corporation.

In 1987Guild advertised it as "the epitome of originality...the most innovativebass guitar ever created." Over a decade later the 18 inch fretlessscale and super light weight of the Ashbory are still revolutionary.

The Ashbory features the patented Ashworth transducer bridge. Combinedwith the silicone rubber strings it is easy to create the growl of an uprightor the punch of a standard electric bass. This is a necessity for anyrecordingstudio and great for live stage performance.

The original Guild Ashborys have been used in performance and in recordingsworldwide by numerous artists both famous and unknown. These arecherished collector instruments as well.
