This is a Fernandes Dragonfly that I purchased new in the 1997. Back when the Dragonfly and the Sustainer were both still new to the market. As I've slowly stopped playing, I've gotten rid of my numerous guitars and this is the last electric to go. It was my favorite electric. The fretware is barely visible. There is one scratch on the back and one nick in the paint on the front on the edge. I got a picture of the nick in the paint on the front. It has the deluxe sustainer with the standard, harmonic and mix modes. It runs on a 9 volt battery in a compartment in the back. I found only limited use for the sustainer, honestly. I liked the guitar for it's feel and playability. Someone more creative might find better use for the sustainer. Someone more into inventive music. The neck single coil is the sustainer pickup. It actually is a very nice sounding pickup and has a lot of warmth to it. I've gotten a lot of good sounds from it and it's pretty quiet for a single coil. The bridge pickup on the other hand is the lesser of the two. Good crunch while with distortion, but very thin sounding otherwise. I had ideas of changing it back when I was still into playing, but never did. The only thing I changed on the guitar are the strap buttons. It's got dunlop plunger type straplock buttons. I'll include the strap as well as a bunch of other stuff. The tremolo bar, a few guitar cables, some picks, etc. At this point I've got the tremolo locked because I started using thicker strings and the stock tremolo springs weren't strong enough to put up with the tension. If you take off the back cover you'll see that I just wrapped a piece of guitar string around it. You could pull it out but you'll either have to switch back to 9's or 10's for strings, or add another spring to the back. I personally never liked tremolos, so I locked it. There is a hard case in the deal too. Someone gave it to me. Pretty standard for a used guitar case. A few stupid stickers on it. The guy who gave it to me dropped some epoxy or something in it and let it harden. I couldn't get it off so I just sewed fabric over it. You'll see the spot in the picture. I prefer paypal, but money orders are fine too. If you use a money order just tell me so I know to wait. I'll pack it up well for shipping. ![]() | |
