Sorry, I am not signed up for Paypal. You are bidding on a rare Charvel 425SL Electric Acoustic bass that I picked up on a recent pawn shop trip. It didn't have a bag or case so I purchased with a new Musician's Friend gig bag (fits it great and is a high-end heavy padded bag) . Electonics have been checked and work. Appears to have had a thumb rest glued on and removed (along with some of the finish) by a previous owner (see pics). Action is actually not bad on this bass, but it does need new strings. Frets and finish show normal wear for their age. I don't know the history of this bass, so item is sold "as-is" and "All sales final"! Successful bidder to add an additional $40.00 for shipping, handling and insurance in the continental US. Canada and Japan bidders may also pay with a Postal money order payable in US dollars (maximum amount per international money order is $500 otherwise I won't be able to cash them at the Post Offices). Local pickups to save shipping costs are always welcome.
NOTE TO FOREIGN BIDDERS: Effective 5/14/07 the USPS has done away with international Parcel Post rates and has reduced the girth limit on shipment of packages from 108 inches to 79 inches on all but the most expensive Global Express dimensional "calculated costs" rate (usually runs in the $175 to $250 range). This makes set neck guitars and guitars in cases very expensive to ship to all foreign countries but Canada (I can still ship resonably to Canada vis UPS if it's to a business address only). Combined with the fact that I am not set up for credit cards via Paypal, inquiries from potential; foreign bidders will only be responded to if payment terms(drawn on a major US bank or a means whereby I can collect the money in person using a major worldwide payment service) are acknowledged that they are not a problem.
Due to a rash of deadbeat bidders that I've had lately, I must include the following conditions for all bidders:
Sorry about the above stipulations, but dead beat or slow paying bidders have been popping up more frequently lately. 99% of the ebay folks I've dealt with have been great and very prompt and courteous).
