Schon NS-6 #0071 With locking tremolo | Here is a very rare collectible Schon NS-6 with locking tremolo electric guitar. Stamped NS 6 0071 in end of fretboard.
Neal Schon of Journey and Santana fame, teamed up with Grover Jackson in the mid eighties to produce a limited run of these guitars.
It is reported that there are less than two hundred of these ever produced.
Jackson and Wayne Charvel were partners for a time back in the late 70's and 80's. Very well made guitar. You can see and feel the quality of craftsmanship and its no wonder why these guitars are so desirable.
Beautiful contours and a great body shape. Not just your typical Gibson or Fender copy.
Excellent clean condition!
White w/ matching headstock. Neck through construction.
The only issue I can find on this is a small indent on the top near the edge on the lower bout between the vol & tone control.
Neck is straight. Frets have no wear.
Plays great with low fast action.
Three Active Jackson pickups: J-85 hb in bridge & 2 single coil J-100 in mid & neck positions.
Ships in original hard shell black tolex covered case w/ blue interior.
Overall excellent condition. Very limited production and a great opportunity to own a great playing, rare & collectible axe!

On May-21-08 at 13:20:05 PDT, seller added the following information:This is one of the original issues from the eighties and not a blank that is available Ed Roman. I was told that they were from 1986. Original J85 pickups which were only available in Schon NS guitars. The ACT3 tremolo is alos original to the guitar.
