this is a fine example of a near vintage model 2 1980s charvel superstrat .

appears to be origonal, 8.75 out of 10 condition. sounds and plays great. much better condition than you would expect for a 20 year old guitar.

origonal  paint looks great

 respected and case kept. very few minor surface scratches  .   never abused

 i hate to sell  but family comes first.

there is some glare or fingerprints in the photo

 black jackson tuners, jackson licenced floyd rose with fine tune, and a shredding jackson humbucker that looks and sounds similar to emg. 

 neck plate is stamped made in ft. worth texas with serial number 288353

the specs are very similar to the eddie van halen model.

what makes this guitar rare? it has 2 knobs  a volume and tone . most model 2s only had one volume knob.

hard to find origonal tremelo bar included. you can make pulls or dives on the tremelo and the guitar  stays in perfect tune.

 harmonics and fingertapping are a breeze. the factory tapered frets on the higher end of the scale make this guitar practicly play itself.  there is a sticker on the back but the previous owner said it wasnt hiding any scratches.  there are no pits over the stickers surface but  possible it could be hiding small surface scratches.

 these single humbucker model 2s flat out shred but are  very versatile for any kind of music 

 never any breaks or repairs

this is worth a lot more than $219.88 so lets see where it goes. comfort my loss of this sweet guitar.

included is a lightly used $40 matching blue strap with strap locks and a $180 foam molded hardshell roadie flight case in good condition.  possibly the best case made to protect a guitar in shipping. 

guitar was recently set up and intonated by a pro guitar tech
