Up for auction is one Burns Marquee guitar. This has been a player's guitar and has its share of nicks and scratches. Its built like a tank though! The finish is beautiful (see pictures) and the rock maple neck plays and looks sweet.

Its hard to find info on Burns Marquees, but I believe this is ether an early version, or a special edition. The fret board is bound, and it doesn't have the zero nut. It also has a different logo on the lower pickguard. The versions that pop up on Ebay most commonly seem to be cheaper (they don't have a bound fret board).

This guitar has a set of great sounding Alnico Rez-o-matik pickups which give it more output than traditional singles and a less scooped sound. It sounds great doing blues but it also covers punk and rock nicely. Definitely a lot more attitude to this guitar than a strat. The electronics and hardware are top notch. The bridge on this guitar is set not to float with a full complement of springs in the back. I don't have the trem bar.

Also included is a semi-hard case with lots of space for storage.
