In this listing we have a new Alvarez Masterworks Series MDS1 Acoustic Guitar. It is a 3/4 or Travel size guitar with a soid mahogany back and sides and a solid Engelmann Spruce top. Yes, it is a 3/4 size guitar that is all solid wood with a glue up dovetail neck joint and not a bolt on neck. No, it is not plywood or formicah like the ones made in SD or PA. It has white binding on the top and back and a gorgeous abalone rosette. The back and sides are beautiful satin solid mahogany. It has small pearl dot position marker inlays on the side of the neck and the 12 Fret has the Alvarez Abalone Slash inlay. The guitar sounds great and doesn't have any fretwear, and doesn't have any dings or scratches that are apparent to the naked eye. The string height is set nice and low and it doesn't hurt your fingers when you play it. The guitar is new and in pristine condition. The Factory Retail Price on this guitar when it was new is aprox $500. The shipping is $35 in the 48 Contigous USA. Insurance is only $10 and is highly recommended. We will pack the guitar very well inside the fitting box and that box inside a nice heavy guitar shipping box with lots of bubba wrap (only available in Arkansas) so it will have a safe trip.
