| You are bidding on a vintage sunburst Aria (Arai factory) semi hollow body violin (viola) shaped (shape) Beatle style electric guitar, model no. 1402T, in very clean, excellent condition with hardshell case. This guitar, which was manufactured in Japan (MIJ, Japanese, Japanese-made), is called an Aria Diamond, is part of the Aria Diamonds series, and is very similar in appearance to Conrad, Univox, and Teisco guitars also from the 1960's/1970's era. Unfortunately, the guitar is missing its vibrato bar. Everything else appears to be there and original. NOTE: As is readily seen from the pix, the name "Kenny" has been engraved into the back plate. This appears professionally done, and the plate seems original to the guitar. Although some would consider the engraving a non-original aspect of the guitar, I think it adds character. In either event, the engraving is well done and (in my opinion, at least) does not detract from the guitar's overall appearance. No reserve has been set. You bid, you buy! Payment is via Paypal.
