Yamaha  P Bass with Bartolini puckups. I think this is a RBX 250. I'm not sure of the year but it works perfectly. I added the Bartolini pickups and brand new flatround strings. The bass neck is straight and frets are in great shape. I have the action relatively low and there is not any buzzing. This was my practice bass so the body is scratched in a couple places (see pics) but it is a great sounding bass with nice feel. The original pickups are listed in another auction and also work perfectly. Check them out.

This would make a great practice or starter bass. I would even recommend gigging with it if the P bass is your thing because the passive bartolini's give this one a nice smooth low tone. I mostly slap but I used this at home practicing scales and fingering exercises to develop my fingers a little more. Trust me, I've got this one sounding good for a low end bass. I can't practice on something if it doesn't feel good or sound nice.

Sorry but I don't the exact wood of the body but the neck is rosewood fingerboard over maple..I think. The bass is light weight so the body is one of the lighter woods. 

NOTE: Just to clarify...There are only nics and scratches mostly just around the bottom edges. The front and back of the body is in nice condition. ABSOLUTELY NO CRACKS IN THE WOOD (body or neck) OR damage to the neck(smooth to hand), tuners, frets, or fingerboard.
