What we have here is as a Zager-modified Martin Sigma Rosewood DR41 Acoustic guitar. This is one of the easiest playing guitars we've ever had in our shop. This guitar was set up by master guitar luthier Denny Zager from Zager & Evans. If you've ever had the pleasure of playing one of his custom guitars you know what I'm talking about. I've played Martin D-18, D-28, and D-35s, and also some of the best from Fender and Gibson and they played nice...but not like this guitar.
This guitar looks like it's been played only a few times...it looks almost new. I really like the abalone type inlay going up the neck and around the edges of the face. It has rosewood back and sides with a solid spruce top. This guitar also has genuine Grover tuning gears.
Look everwhere on the net and you will see that Denny's guitars are rated higher then some of the more expensive acoustics made. Here's a direct link to user reviews of this guitar...see for yourself:

Denny's retiring this year so I wouldn't doubt prices will be rising. If it means anything I tried to find other used Zager custom guitars on Ebay to figure out where to set my reserve and I couldn't find even one...players just don't sell them.
All guitars that we sell include a gig bag, strap, extra strings and picks. |
