This is a CORT top of the line Limited Edition LE-2 BR Solid Brazilian Rosewood Dreadnought (solid BR on both back and sides). I was informed that they made 12 guitars in this Earth Custom Shop Limited Edition series out of high grade Brazilian Rosewood (LE-2 BR designation), a few had cutaways and Fishman Blender electronics.

This guitar is of the quality of wood and craftsmanship of guitars truly selling for 10 times its price. Great guitar, very balanced, great depth and projection (very loud, this guitar rings out). Mastergrade Brazilian Rosewood with dark black or purple figuring of the grain lines and sapwood on the back. Bookmatched back and sides. Tight grain solid Bearclaw Spruce top with amazing silking. Transparent pick-guard added. Check out the meticulous inlays and soundhole rosette. One piece mahogany neck. Maple body binding with intricate abalone inlays and a subtle blue line alongside the maple binding on body and fretboard. A very rich designed inlay of the back and on edges of sides - see photos.

Ebony fretboard a and bridge. Cort's scooped bridge design. 43 mm fretboard width at the nut, which is just a hair wider then 1 11/16". High quality German steel frets with little if any fretwear.Bone nut. Bone Saddle and pins. Gold open gear tuners by Gotoh.

This guitar comes strung with D'Addario EXP light strings and the sound is very well focused with lights. I use D'Addario EJ16's which sound great. No need to change strings on this guitar often, once a year as it seems to sound better the longer the strings are on. One advantage of these Cort's is they are designed and built around light strings whereas most dreadnoughts builders recommend mediums and their D's really need mediums to sound right.

This guitar is the highest quality instrument (sound, quality of wood, craftsmanship) you will get for the money. Beautiful workmanship and inlays. This guitar is near mint with one very very small ding visible on the top. Have two of these, one with the cutaway and fishman premium blender electronics and this one without. Would just mention again that this guitar's sound, the quality of wood and craftsmanship and its unique feature of optimum sound using light instead of medium strings make this guitar unique, extremely rare and a super buy on custom made BR dreadnought.. Whoever gets this guitar will be happy with it and not to mention that this same guitar out of BR if it had a Martin or Collings logo would sell in the neighborhood of $20K if not more you can be sure of.
