| Up for auction is an ESP LTD J-1005 Natural color with Quilt finish. This is the deluxe model, not the standard issue. The binding is mother or pearl, or abalone, I'm not sure which. I'm leaning towards abalone to match the dot inlays on the fretboard. Here's the write up from MF. The rounded J body design's eye appeal is enhanced by a quilted maple top on ash. The 35" scale maple neck has dual graphite reinforcement rods. EMG 35-PJ pickups are wired into a BTS active EQ. Gold satin hardware includes Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a Hipshot A-style strings-thru-body bridge. 21 XJ frets.
