This is a very cool 1960s Silvertone model 1446L thinline electric guitar.  This is the top-of-the-line model that came from the factory with the nickel mini-humbucking pickups (and entire wiring harness) that were made by Gibson and factory Bigsby.  These pickups are very close in specs (and tone) to the ones that Gibson used in the higher-end Epiphone and Firebird guitars in the mid 1960s and sound absolutely great.  This example has been played but is in good shape and plays and sounds great, with nice strong twang and treble from the bridge pickup and blues fatness from the neck pickup.  It is original save for the bridge, which is an improvement tonally and intonation-wise from the original wooden bridge, which can be gotten cheaply on eBay and easily put back to stock for anyone who really cares.  Also, as the pictures show, the pickguard is missing.  Nice hardshell case is included.  This is a true auction with a $1.00 opening bid and NO RESERVE.  $50 shipping, handling and insurance shipped to anywhere in continental U.S.  No other shipping destinations without my prior approval.  Payment must be received within five days of the auction’s close.   Buyer prepays with postal money order or cashier's check.  Please e-mail with any questions before bidding, as auction sale is final.  Bids from bidders whose feedback indicates past unhonored bids or has excessive negatives will be canceled.
