This auction features a GUILD D-35 solid wood acoustic guitar, USA made serial number is 102105 which I think makes it a 1972. These guitars featured solid mahogony back and sides with a spruce top.and sound much like a Martin D-18. This particular guitar features what I think is Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge which probably doesn't change the sound but is very cool. This guitar features cast tuners which still work very well. The guitar plays very well, not as much bass as rosewood construction but still very acceptable and an exceptionally brilliant treble. There is a 1970's Japanese hard case included. This instrument has been roughly treated with many dents, dings scratches and several cracks so bid accordingly. There is one repaired crack in the back and several in the top which have not moved since I've had the guitar for about two years. This is not a showpiece but it is a great player. I have set a low reserve. Thanks for looking and God bless.
