| Up for auction here is TAKAMINE MODEL F455S, 1977 model acoustic guitar. this guitar was made in a very limited number,( i have read, only 25 were made) when takamine started importing to the usa in the late 70's. the guitar is beautiful, with vine inlay, and abalone binding, spruce top, rosewood sides and back.this guitar has low action for an acoustic, and sounds terrific, even with old strings on it.the neck is straight, and the top is perfectly flat! it has some fretwear, but nothing terrible, mainly the upper positions. all inlay is intact. the guitar does have various dings, playwear, scratches fron being played.one good little ding on top. it has a ding around the endpin, with chipped wood. this is the only real "damage" it has had active electronics installed, and they work great. the pickguard has come unglued slightly, ill let you reglue it.serial number is 77012591. all in all, a very solid 8 on a scale of 1-10.it was hard to show all the beauty of this guitar, and show all the small dings with 12 pics, so if you would like any certain photo, ill be glad to email it to you. comes with a niceTKL hardcase that fits it well. 50.00 usa shipping, ins. 100.00 everywhere else.PLEASE READ, if you are overseas, and want to bid, that is fine, but be sure you ar3 able to pay with paypal or money order. thanks | |
