The tiny Class A tube amp you see here is a vintage USA made Sears Meteor Model 1430, circa 1959, Serial number 185.1000...I believe this is a Danelectro product?...5" alnico speaker, brown vinyl covering with a creme diamond weave grill, and a set of 3 tubes...The preamp tube is a 12AU6, the output tube is a 50C5, and the rectifier tube is a 35W4, kinda like a little radio...Anyway, this is your basic "student" tube amp, maybe 2 watts, volume and on/off switch, one input...As you can imagine, it has that classic lo-fi tone very little clean volume before decending into overdrive...I just put in a NOS 12AU6 but this will sound WAY better with a new 50C5 as well....I'll have one in there for ya before it ships...
