DESCRIPTION:  

Late 1960's to early 70's Japanese made hofner style guitar. 25" scale 1 5/8" nut width bound brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Arch top and back 5 ply binding on top 1 ply on back and the coolest forest green burst finish I've ever seen. 2 single coil pickups, coil spring tremelo. Maple neck and body

DETAILS: 

This guitar is in very good condition no breaks or repairs a high gloss finish with very slight wear on back a little checking from age. One spot on upper bout has wear from case rub. No binding separation at all about as clean as they get at the age 40. This guitar plays well all electronics are good and it has a unique sound. The guitar has been on loan to a nationally known guitarist for recording sessions , (thanks Max for taking good care of it.) If you have watched my auctions in the last few months you know I have a wide variety of vintage instruments in my collection and this is a favorite of my friends. A very playable and collectable guitar. This is a somewhat rare bird and I am uncertain of its value, but all things considered I think my BIN price will be a bargain for the lucky winner.
