A CUT AND PASTE REVIEW OFF THE WEB FROM MR. BLACK:

Features :8

2001 made in Korea, 24 frets, Neck thru design, Mahogany Body, Maple Neck, Quilted Maple Top, Transparent Purple color with Clear body binding, 1 vol, 1 tone, 5 way blade, 2 EMG HZ H4's with adjustable poles, Floyd Rose liscenced trem, ESP Tuners with locking nut, decently thin neck, not as thin as Ibanez Wizard II, but still fast, Rosewood fingerboard, mine was bought used but came with an MBT Polyfoam case

Sound :10

Amazing sounding guitar, in neck position you get a real deep warm tone, great for heavy rythms and really warm thick cleans, bridge position is hot and ready for leads, the 5 way is set so that you get a coil tap on each humbucker also, giving you a really cool fender style sound, i'm running it thru a Carvin X100-B and currently using a Digitech "The Weapon" for effects. With GHS Boomers 46-10's it plays awesome, i normally play nothing less than a .52, but this axe doesn't need it. Tons of variety and awesome sound, for those reviewers who said the pickups were trash, Learn to adjust the poles and the heighth of your pickups, it makes a world of difference. I'm more and more impressed with this guitar every time i pick it up.

Action, Fit, & Finish :10

I got mine used, so i'm not sure how it was outta the box, but it was pretty decently setup when i got it, i had to re-adjust the pickups, and it will need a minor fret level and dress, but other than that it's very well made, the finish is flawless, for a 4 year old guitar it has almost no scratches whatsoever.

Reliability/Durability :10

the axe is top knotch, it immediately became my main guitar, all hardware and materials are in perfect shape, nothing even showing a hint of wear yet after 4 years, i added strap locks even tho the original buttons were very nice, they were a wide flat flange that would hold a strap much better than the standard strap buttons you see on most guitars, but all my guitars use the same strap locks, so i had to put them on. I would use this guitar with no backup without even questioning it.

Customer Support :No Opinion

havn't had to deal with ESP yet, don't see any reason why i would have to either.

Overall Rating :10

I've been playing for about 9 years and have owned a good amount of nice guitars, and this is definetely one of the nicest i've ever played. If it were stolen i'd absolutely be looking for another. Love everything about it, hate nothing about it. I compared it to a bunch of other guitars, and it easy came out on top. Great axe for multiple playing styles, awesome sound, awesome look, and a pretty decent price, it easily compares with the guitars around $600
