You are bidding on a New Hofner Contemporary series 4 string Beatle Bass in sunburst with hard case included.....let me begin to tell you how great this Bass is ....first of all it is made in China, Hofner makes 2 basses in China  the less expensive one is the Icon Bass (all chinese parts and construction and no solid sound block in the body (that gives you etra sustain) .... and Now the Contemporary Hofner Beatle  Bass, this is Made in China but they are closely supervised by Hofner and they use the Real German Staple Pickups from thier $2,000 model ......and also has much better hardware and the sound block , let me list it

it has

*German made Staple pickups (like the $2,000 Hofners ) (makes Great difference in the sound )

*excelant hardware

* Solid sound block down the middle of the body (for extra sustain)

* the right vintage logo (like the $2,000 Hofner)

* binding on Neck & headstock (combo of various different  Hofners)

i have vintage German Hofners i use on my gigs.....this bass is so close i am now using the contemporary series
