Up for auction is a Gretsch Tennessean Chet Atkins signature guitar in very good condition. Serial number is 37862 which dates this one at March, 1967. I am including an Ibanez hard shell case. It appears to be original with the exception of the bridge and the tuning keys. Both were replaced quite some time ago with parts that are now considered vintage themselves. The original bar type bridge was replaced with a compensating bridge. The original open back tuning keys were replaced with Kluson Deluxe enclosed tuning keys. There are some nicks and scratches as you would expect on an instrument of this age. The pickguard has a crack that has been repaired. This is a common occurrence on this model. The binding over the neck joint has some cracking but not severe. There is some belt rash on the back. The front is very clean with only a minor scratch that could be buffed out. Overall appearance is very good. There is some paint flaking on the edges of the headstock. Please refer to the pictures for more information. If you are looking at this, then you already know what it is. This is a no reserve auction. S&H is 45.00 to the lower 48 USA and includes shipping insurance. Thanks for looking and good luck.
