Neck-Through Construction:
Neck-Through construction is used on the Kerry King Signature Wartribebecause it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort andaccess to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered thepremium construction method for high-end guitars. This constructionstarts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple.That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button onthe opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock,fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single soundfoundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-throughconstruction also allows deeper cutaways, providing comfort no bolt-onor set-neck could offer.

EMG-81:
The EMG-81 bridge pickup is a high output pickup designed especiallyfor the lead guitarist. The 81 is at its best for high volume overdriveand amps with a master volume.
