This auction is for a beautiful Yairi DY-91 in excellent condition.  The upper-end Yairis are some of the best built and nicely appointed guitars out there.  If you haven't played a Yairi you are truly missing out on a great experience.

This DY-91 is  made with Koa Wood back and sides with a select spruce top.  This unique woods used in this quitar combined with it's inlays gives it an understated elegance.

The above picture of the Koa Wood back shows the area where there are 3 extremely small indentations - To even see them in a photograph I had to take another picture at a different angle, and increase the contrast of the photo - and still the divits are almost impossible to see!

There is abalone inlay not only around the top binding and fret-board - ALA the D-45, but also around the edges of the bridge.  By right clicking on the above photo you can select "Save As" and save the picture to your computer in it's full-blown size for closer inspection.

I angled this photo of the front of the guitar so you could see just how straight and unblemished it is...  NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER!

The front and back views of the headstock show the Alvarez Yairi gold colored tuning machines that are in excellent condition.

The fret board is fully bound and features diamond position markers.

The pick guard has a tasteful Alvarez Yairi logo done in inlay and the bridge is highlighted with an abalone inlay.  This guitar is in near-mint condition with just light pick scratches on the pick guard.

There have been no issues with this guitar in the past and there are no issues or problem areas with it now.

There have never been any cracks anywhere and it has never needed to be repaired. 

The guitar has been professionally set up and has a nice warm sound with great sustain.  The Koa wood gives this guitar a very pleasing tone.

The Alvarez Yairi I am selling has a 1 5/8" nut and a dreadnaught sized body.  This guitar has always been well cared for and has always been properly humidified.

The more you look at this guitar, the more of it's appointments and details you will see!  - and don't forget, it comes with an Alvarez factory hard case.
