Tonewood selection is extremely important so we use Solid Sitka Spruce for the top and Mahogany for the back and sides.

The Rosewood bridge ensures maximum transfer of string energy to the Solid Sitka Spruce top for superior tone.

The Acrylic Pearl rosette is an elegant finishing touch to the Solid Sitka Spruce top.

These highly-polished, perfectly dressed frets ensure maximum playability, even in the highest positions. Attention to detail is what separates Alvarez from the rest of the pack. The deep Venetian cutaway gives you access to even the highest position frets.

The Alvarez System 200T Preamp/EQ offers the same natural acoustic sound reproduction as our System 600T in a simpler Volume/Treble/Bass format. The System 200T includes it's own digital tuner for on-the-spot tuning reliability.
